The Skinny Girl's Guide to Starbucks

I have a serious problem when it comes to Starbucks. Let's face it- while being healthy is important, so are caramel macchiatos. While some of our favorite Starbucks drinks have about as many calories as dinner, there are plenty of ways to shave off a few of those calories and make your Starbucks order, well, skinny.

Here are a few of my favorite Starbucks drinks that won't sabotage your physique:

1. Tall Skinny Iced Caramel Macchiato
 This is my all-time favorite Starbucks drink. By ordering a "skinny" macchiato, you are essentially just asking for non-fat milk & sugar-free syrup. 
100 calories, 10 calories from fat
(versus tall caramel macchiato- 170 calories, 45 calories from fat) 

2. Tall Javachip Frappuccino Light
 This is my go-to drink when I have a sweet tooth. In my opinion the light version is better (I think the regular javachip frapp can be a little too rich).
150 calories, 25 calories from fat
(versus tall javachip frappucchino- 240 calories, 50 calories from fat)
*note: neither of these include whipped cream

3. Venti Iced Passion Tea, Unsweetened
 This is what I order when I want something refreshing. I order it unsweetened and add splenda myself. 
0 Calories
(versus venti iced passion tea, sweetened- 120 calories, 0 calories from fat)

  1. These are all great Starbucks drinks! I have two favorites that I always get. In the spring/summer I get an unsweetened iced passion tea and in the fall/winter I get a skinny chai tea latte :)


  2. Love both of those! I also get a dirty skinny chai tea latte in the winter (the "dirty" part is a must for me since I can hardly open my eyes in the morning without espresso, it's pretty pathetic).
